Boman was one of the protagonists, also as a sponsor, of the fourth edition of Lamiera Training Day, which took place on Thursday 13 November 2025 at the prestigious Mille Miglia Museum, the pride of the municipality of Sant’Eufemia (BS).
This is the first time that the Murello (CN) based company has participated in this important event, which is now recognised and appreciated by all professionals in the sector. An event designed, promoted and organised for those who work in the world of metal carpentry.
Enrico Bonaudi, President of Boman, Alex Belforte, Enrica Paglietta and Lorenzo Beltrando were present in the dedicated area and met with numerous industry professionals interested in the range of welding and handling positioners, created to meet real needs for safety, flexibility and reduced processing times, adapting to customer specifications.
At Boman, the design phase for manipulators and positioners for welding stations began in 2007, to solve a handling and lifting problem in welding stations, on a new type of telescopic arm commissioned by a specific customer. Silvio Bonaudi, the late founder of the company, travelled to the United States with some of his colleagues to see innovative technologies that were still not widely used in Italy. The American experience turned into a dedicated project that revolutionised the company’s manufacturing and production processes. 2018 saw the registration of the Boman trademark, consolidating the company, while direct commercial activity began in 2019 with the company’s first participation in a trade fair: GIS in Piacenza.
Within a few years, thanks to the experience it has gained and the high reliability of its positioners, Boman has become a true benchmark in the sector, because its machines – equipped with patented technologies – allow you to work safely, reducing the use of traditional lifting equipment and improving accessibility, reliability and precision for those who work in the workshop every day.
