CELEBRATING AN IMPORTANT MILESTONE TOGETHER

BOMAN SUPPORTS THE NEW PROJECT OF THE PANCALIERI KINDERGARTEN.

The transition from a private to a state school will allow the continuation of a tradition that has lasted since 1875.

The Pancalieri Nursery School has new and ambitious projects: starting with the 2024-2025 school year, it will become a state school, continuing a tradition that began in 1875.

In 2022, in the small town in the province of Turin, rising costs and a declining birth rate (a trend that has affected Italy for years), combined with the firm intention to keep the school accessible to all families in Pancalieri without increasing tuition fees, created a challenging situation for the Kindergarten. And it is exactly in October of that year that a journey began, lasting nearly 24 months, which resulted in a positive outcome thanks to the constant work of volunteers, the active commitment of the public administration – to which the mayor, Luca Pochettino, has always provided his support – but also thanks to the shared intent of the entire community.

The school managed to maintain its services during the two years required to complete the bureaucratic process, which led to its official transition from a private institution to a state school. This was made possible with the support of the Piedmont Region and Councillor Davide Nicco.

During these two years, however, the support of the entire community was also crucial. Institutions such as the Monviso Territories Bank Foundation (BTM) – Banca Territori Monviso, companies like Boman, MCF Safety Belts, RC Plast, and Somefer, the Chiavazza family of the historic Molino Chiavazza, Dr. Sangalli, Michele Ferrero and Costanza “Albina” Ferrero Chiattone, the parents of the Pancalieri Primary School, the Pro Loco association, the Alpini group of Pancalieri, and the entire local population all united with a single goal: ensuring that the nursery school could continue a journey that has shaped the town’s history.

“My father, Silvio, attended the Pancalieri KIndergarten, and many years later, my sister Clara and I were also students at this school,” says Enrico Bonaudi, now president of Boman Srl. “For us, it’s like a red thread connecting the generations of our family, so much so that my son is also enrolled here. Moreover, I believe that as entrepreneurs, it is essential to be actively present in the community that has allowed our company to grow”.

A constant and active commitment from Boman, which in March 2023 involved Mario Leuci (known as 750ML) – one of the world’s leading airbrush artists – and creator of the murals on the walls of the Boman facility that tell the story of Silvio Bonaudi, an entrepreneur who lived in the present with a keen eye on the future. Together, they carried out a vibrant makeover of the courtyard at Pancalieri’s Lower Secondary School.

“For us at Boman,” concludes Enrico Bonaudi, “focusing on the community where our business was born is a priority because we believe that a company grows not only through numbers, but also when it becomes a reference point and support for its local area.”
