CELEBRATING AN IMPORTANT MILESTONE TOGETHER

BOMAN CELEBRATES ITS FIRST 25 YEARS

Boman has celebrated its first 25 years—a significant milestone for the company that also marks a new starting point for future challenges and further affirmation of the excellence of the work carried out by the Murello (CN)-based company, both in Italy and worldwide.

Boman’s first 25 years are a story of passion, expertise, and vision, which began in June 1999 in Ceresole d’Alba (Cuneo), thanks to the determination and intuition of Silvio Bonaudi. He first designed and then built a high-level industrial company specializing in structural steelwork, steel processing, and the implementation of unique projects.

In these 25 years, much has changed—not only in production but also within the company’s structure. Two years ago, Silvio Bonaudi tragically passed away in an accident, suddenly leaving the responsibility of the company to his young children, Enrico and Clara, CEO Alex Belforte, and a trusted team of collaborators.

Every day,” said Enrico Bonaudi, President of Boman, “we have committed ourselves to creating machines and components that not only make human work easier but do so in a safe, efficient, and innovative way. Every machine that leaves our workshops carries a part of us—our dedication to quality, safety, and the well-being of our clients. This is the heart of our work: creating solutions that improve the lives and work of people. I cannot forget the difficult moments, the periods when challenges seemed too overwhelming. But it’s in those moments that we showed our true strength. With determination, intelligence, and teamwork, we overcame obstacles that seemed insurmountable. We turned difficulties into opportunities and challenges into successes.”

An immense challenge overcome with great determination embracing all the values that Silvio Bonaudi instilled in the company.

Dad was a visionary,” shared Clara Bonaudi, a member of Boman’s Board of Directors. “He was a leader and a friend to many of you. His passion, determination, and innovative spirit have been the beating heart of this company since its creation. Thanks to him, we have grown and transformed into what we are today. There isn’t a day when his absence isn’t felt, but his spirit lives on in every corner of our company and in every project we undertake. His legacy continues to guide and inspire us.”

However, it wasn’t just about showcasing technical and commercial skills—the real challenge was bringing the entire group together, continuing to motivate a team composed of multicultural employees, primarily of Indian origin, along with clients and suppliers. Boman has stayed true to the path laid out by its founder, who always envisioned the company as one big family.

“I want to thank you all for being here to celebrate this significant milestone, achieved thanks to your valuable contributions,” said Alex Belforte, CEO of Boman. “Reaching 25 years is an important achievement, one that we’ve attained by carrying forward a great legacy together. I joined the Boman family 19 years ago, and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing everything that underpins this great success. For this reason, I want to take this opportunity to thank all our Clients and suppliers, whom I consider our invaluable partners.”

The concluding speech was entrusted to Giuseppe Finotto, Production Director, who extended heartfelt thanks: “I want to highlight and give proper recognition to the support I receive every day from Enrico, Alex, and Enrica, which I try to pass on to all the Production team. A heartfelt thank you to the Office staff, always kind and available, and a special thanks to my closest collaborators: the Team Leaders and Quality team.

I also want to express my gratitude to all the carpenters, welders, mechanics, preparers, and maintenance staff. Thank you for your exemplary behaviour and the effort you put in every time to achieve our planned objectives. Let’s keep going, let’s keep believing!”

The celebrations, held on Saturday, July 27, in the halls and park of Solaro Castle, were more than just a corporate anniversary. They became a vibrant, multi-coloured celebration of the “Boman Family,” where owners, employees, clients, suppliers, and friends came together to reaffirm deep values of unity, genuine friendship, and solidarity.

Among the 400 guests, numerous entrepreneurs and politicians attended, including Marco Gallo, the Regional Councillor of Piedmont, who conveyed personal greetings and those of President Alberto Cirio. Also present were Gabriele Giletta, Mayor of Villanova Solaro; Massimo Marengo, President of Confapi Cuneo; Mariano Costamagna, President of Confindustria Cuneo; and regional councillor Federica Barbero.

The event was, at times, deeply moving, remembering the founder and collaborators who are no longer with the company but remain vividly present in its collective memory. Genuine emotion was visible in the eyes of employees honoured for their loyalty and dedication, most notably Enrica Paglietta, the historic secretary who supported Silvio Bonaudi from the very beginning. A particularly touching and forward-looking gesture was the recognition of the newest employee, who joined Boman just a few weeks ago, with wishes for a long and fulfilling career within the company.

The impeccable organization, delicious food, performances by singers and dancers, and a spectacular fireworks finale provided the perfect setting to celebrate an enterprise that places its heart at the center of its steelworking craft—and will continue to do so.
