{"id":8876,"date":"2024-11-20T16:20:15","date_gmt":"2024-11-20T15:20:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/boman.it\/boman-in-senatoallincontro-scienziati-in-parlamento\/"},"modified":"2025-09-18T09:55:05","modified_gmt":"2025-09-18T07:55:05","slug":"boman-in-senatoallincontro-scienziati-in-parlamento","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/boman.it\/en\/boman-in-senatoallincontro-scienziati-in-parlamento\/","title":{"rendered":"Boman at the Senate for the meeting \u201cScientists in Parliament\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company from Murello took part \u2013 on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 \u2013 at the Senate of the Republic in the conference <em>\u201c<strong>Scientists in Parliament: New Frontiers \u2013 Antiage, Nutraceuticals, Neurosciences, Environment<\/strong>\u201d<\/em> initiated by Senator <strong>Antonio Trevisi<\/strong> \u2013 Finance Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was attended by <strong>Giancarlo Zema<\/strong>, President of GZDG; <strong>Piera Levi-Montalcini<\/strong>, President of the Levi-Montalcini Foundation; <strong>Marcello Merlino<\/strong>, President of Paulownia4Planet; <strong>Giada Genchi<\/strong>, Researcher at the University of Bari; <strong>Marco Sandri<\/strong>, Professor at the University of Padua; <strong>Antonio Ruggiero<\/strong>, Pediatric Oncologist at the Policlinico Gemelli Foundation IRCCS; <strong>Matteo Micucci<\/strong>, Professor and Researcher at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo; <strong>Ettore Novellino<\/strong>, Professor and Researcher at the Catholic University of Rome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting, the Levi-Montalcini Foundation and Paulownia4Planet awarded <strong><em>Environmental and Scientific Merit Certificates<\/em><\/strong> to all the entrepreneurial entities involved in the creation of a Paulownia forest, the tree that absorbs the most CO2 in the world.<br>Among the entities receiving the certificate was <strong>Boman<\/strong>, which, starting from the first quarter of 2024, joined the project by planting 50 Paulownia trees at the <strong><em>Centro Cinofilo 4 Zampe<\/em><\/strong> in Pancalieri, with the aim of creating shaded areas for animals. The number of Paulownia trees planted was not random: two trees for each year of Boman&#8217;s activity, which celebrated its first 25 years of operation this year. This is the first initiative, and it will be followed by other projects in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cIt was truly an honour for us at <strong>Boman<\/strong> to take part in this meeting, in such a remarkable setting. It was an opportunity that highlighted many projects currently being implemented in our Region.
