Participation in the trade fairs in Essen (Germany) and Piacenza (Italy) confirms the commitment of the Murello (CN)-based company to the global market with technological solutions for industrial lifting and welding
September proved to be a strategic month for Boman Srl, which took part in two major industry trade fairs: SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN in Essen (Germany) from September 15 to 19, and GIS Expo – Italian Days of Lifting and Exceptional Transport in Piacenza from September 25 to 27. These two key events focused on welding, assembly, and industrial handling.
The German fair is a fundamental reference point for professionals in welding, cutting, and coating sectors. Boman srl attended for the second time, involving its management, sales department, technical office, and quality department.
This year’s guiding theme was “Join the Future.” Under this banner, the Essen fair served as a major meeting point for companies, experts, and market leaders. The spotlight was on topics shaping the industry of tomorrow: digitalization, sustainability, and the recruitment of qualified personnel.

In the exhibition area, Boman had the opportunity to connect with numerous European and international companies. The company’s positioners attracted particular interest from businesses outside Europe, such as those from the United Arab Emirates and Brazil, which showed strong interest in the models Titan, Pegasus, and Hercules. This positive feedback opens excellent prospects for Boman, which is determined to establish new commercial agreements beyond European borders, thus moving toward global markets.

The GIS Expo in Piacenza was an important showcase for the lifting sector in Italy and Europe. The fair presented technological innovations in material lifting, working at height, industrial and port handling, and exceptional transport. For Boman, it was another opportunity for exchange and engagement with various industry players.
This edition of GIS Expo highlighted key industry themes: reducing environmental impact, improving operational safety, and optimizing production processes. In this context, the positioners and manipulators developed by Boman Srl proved particularly relevant, thanks to their custom design aimed at safely and efficiently handling heavy loads.
During the fair, Boman also initiated important contacts with Italian companies interested in customized welding and assembly systems, and in welding high-strength steel structures, such as telescopic arms, frames, and turrets for lifting systems.
GIS is the only event of its kind in Italy and the largest in Europe. In this environment, GIS 2025 confirmed its role as a privileged laboratory of ideas and perspectives, and for Boman Srl, the exchange between companies, institutions, and specialized operators was even more crucial.
